IPG participa junto a otras IES en Taller de Ajustes al Plan de Acción de Género
16 de mayo. – Con la finalidad de aportar y contribuir colaborativamente a la implementación y consolidación de la política de género en la Formación Superior TP, en las dependencias de la Universidad Alberto Hurtado se efectuó el último Taller de Ajustes al Plan de Acción de Género, instancia desarrollada el 16 de mayo y que contó con la participación de distintas instituciones de educación superior técnica profesional, entre ellas el Instituto Profesional IPG.
Al respecto Irune Marines, asesora de género en Subsecretaría de Educación Superior, manifestó que “se está trabajando en actualizar el Plan de acción y hacer seguimiento a la implementación de la Ley 21.369 que regula el acoso, la violencia y discriminación de género, para hacer un acompañamiento y una orientación a las instituciones de educación superior en todos los procesos y desafíos que son integrar un modelo de prevención, pero también todo el resto de acciones en igualdad de género, que tienen que ver con acceso, trayectorias educativas y también con la incorporación al mundo laboral de mujeres, disidencias sexuales y de género”.
Por su parte, María José Valdevenito, Encargada Transversal Vinculación con el Medio de la Universidad Alberto Hurtado y encargada de desarrollar el taller, mencionó que “el propósito de estas instancias en definitiva fue levantar insumos para la actualización del Plan de Equidad e Inclusión de Género y Grupos Vulnerables para la Educación Técnico Profesional de Nivel Superior. Asimismo, nos ha permitido entablar acciones en estas materias, sobre todo a lo relativo a los modelos de prevención, que hay muchos ritmos de desarrollo, las instituciones son muy distintas entre sí y eso exige integrar nuevos tópicos al plan, pero también mirar el plan desde una mirada integral y progresiva, que no sea solo la entrega de insumos u orientaciones para el cumplimiento de ciertas acciones, sino también entender que es una instalación progresiva, que van a significar distintos cambios, que van a ser en el tiempo y las instituciones de alguna manera pueden reconocerse en esos estadios, puesto que son cambios que requieren una mirada de mediana y largo plazo”.
Finalmente, la Encargada de la Unidad de Equidad e Igualdad de Género del Instituto Profesional IPG Catalina Bandera, se refirió a la importancia de estas instancias colaborativas, “en donde cada uno de los participantes podemos levantar las inquietudes y dificultades que se presentan en la implementación de la perspectiva de género, así como a su vez compartir buenas prácticas. La importancia radica en tener orientaciones que se puedan ajustar a las realidades de cada institución educacional”.
