Escuela de Ingeniería y Tecnología de IPG sede Rancagua asiste a la XVII versión Expomin 2023
24 de abril, Rancagua. – Con el objetivo de conocer nuevas temáticas de innovación minera y de tecnologías asociadas a los procesos de producción, el Jefe de Carrera de la Escuela de Ingeniería y Tecnología del Instituto Profesional IPG Sede Rancagua, Juan Pablo Fernández, junto con docentes y estudiantes asistieron a la Expomin 2023, la mayor feria minera de Latinoamérica desarrollada entre el 24 y 27 de abril en el centro ferial del parque Fisa de Santiago.
En esta oportunidad la delegación de IPG contempló la participación de 17 personas, quienes pudieron interactuar con actores del sector y empresas proveedoras de excelencia, nacionales e internacionales, y que representan toda la cadena de valor de la industria minera.
Para el docente Luis Samuel Tapia “esta visita significó un instante de reflexión y observación. Observación en el sentido de visualizar la tecnología de vanguardia desarrollada para beneficiar al sector minero; y de reflexión, puesto nos permite entender que la minería es el sector que mueve la económica del país, que sin lugar a duda los proyectos de inversión en este rubro pueden modificar la historia de la economía nacional”.
Asimismo, la delegación de IPG pudo profundizar conocimientos sobre temáticas de innovación, desarrollo, sustentabilidad, competitividad, empleabilidad, equidad de género, eficiencia productiva, energías renovables, digitalización y seguridad, entre otras, que fueron abordadas en la XVII versión de la Expomin.
