En la actualidad, la integración de género en todas las esferas de la sociedad es una cuestión vital. Cabe destacar que el objetivo principal de estas reuniones, además de dialogar sobre los desafíos y oportunidades que enfrentan las mujeres en el rubro, busca promover el trabajo conjunto para establecer criterios claros con las empresas asociadas a la producción minera que pretenden ampliar de forma significativa el acceso de ellas en este nicho, garantizando igualdad de oportunidades y promoviendo la diversidad.
Además, en la misma línea esta mesa de trabajo se enfoca en la organización y programación de diferentes actividades que fomenten el interés femenino en la industria. Entre estas propuestas, se planean realizar ferias y charlas que les permitan conocer más sobre el área, así como destacar historias de éxito y los caminos que muchas mujeres han trazado en este ámbito.
Con iniciativas como de “Trabajo Mujer y Minería”; se vislumbra un futuro más inclusivo y diverso para el sector minero.
