En ceremonia de Investidura, futuros TENS dieron un paso clave en su formación ética profesional
26 de octubre de 2023, Santiago. – Asumiendo el compromiso con los cuidados de sus futuros pacientes y basándose en los sólidos conocimientos adquiridos durante sus primeros semestres de formación, estudiantes de Técnico en Enfermería de Nivel Superior del Instituto Profesional IPG sede Santiago fueron protagonistas de la ceremonia de Investidura, instancia que marca el inicio de su etapa clínica.
El solemne evento realizado el 26 de octubre en el Auditorio de la Mutual de Seguridad, contó con la presencia de unas cien personas, y se convirtió en un momento trascendental no solo para los estudiantes, sino también para la comunidad educativa y autoridades presentes; entre ellas se encontraba Myriam Gálvez, Directora de Campus Mutual; Yéssica Retamal, Coordinadora de TENS en Campus Mutual, enfermeras y TENS de Campus Mutual. Además, en representación de IPG estuvieron presentes Gabriela Zañartu, Directora Nacional de la Escuela de Salud, Glenda Soto, Directora de la Sede Santiago, y Eduardo Quezada, Jefe de Carrera Escuela de Salud.
Respecto a la relevancia de su significado, Eduardo Quezada enfatizó “el acto de la investidura marca para nuestros y nuestras estudiantes un paso crucial antes de adentrarse en los campos clínicos y establecer contacto directo con pacientes, familias y la comunidad en general. Estos uniformes junto con la credencial identifican a los estudiantes, como un símbolo tangible de su dedicación y respeto hacia las personas a las que servirán”.
Durante la ceremonia se entregó a cada estudiante una credencial, quienes frente a sus docentes, padres y autoridades rindieron homenaje a la enfermera Florence Nightingale, pionera de la disciplina. Originalmente se practica con una vela que simboliza la claridad y el conocimiento que brinda la educación, iluminando el camino hacia el autoconocimiento y promoviendo la interacción respetuosa con el prójimo.
Posteriormente, en representación de los y las estudiantes de Técnico en Enfermería, la alumna Claudia Orellana entregó un mensaje a sus pares, con un motivador discurso. “Debemos marcar la diferencia en el Sistema de Salud y ser parte de la solución, no del problema. Para ello se requiere tener mucha paciencia y desarrollar la empatía, y si se les complica la pista, no se desanimen y sigan, porque se puede, aunque cueste, y como dicen, a veces lo que más cuesta es lo que más se valora”.
De esta manera finalizó esta relevante actividad; por su parte el Instituto Profesional les desea a sus alumnos un exitoso desempeño en esta etapa crucial de formación.
